The scheme has been divided into 2 parts:
1. Part A: Incentives for first-time employees
2. Part B: Wage subsidies for the creation of new jobs for first-time entrants

Part A: ₹15,000 Incentive for First-Time Employees
If you are a first-time employee, the government wants to give you a gift for becoming a part of the formal, EPF-registered organisation. Here's what you can get:Benefits under Part A
First-time employees get a financial incentive equivalent to one month's EPF wage, up to a maximum of ₹15,000. The amount will be transferred directly to your seeded Aadhaar bank account in two instalments:1st Instalment: Transfer after 6 months of continuous employment with the EPF-covered establishment
2nd Instalment: Transfer after 12 months of continuous employment with the EPF-covered establishment, but you will have to complete a basic financial literacy course for EPFO before claiming this instalment. The amount will be held in either a savings or a deposit account till then, so that you can use it for a good cause.
Who is Eligible for Part A?
Your organisation must have enrolled you in EPF, and you have been hired before 1st August 2025 for the first time. Additionally:- Your monthly wage, including allowances, must not exceed ₹1,00,000

Part B: ₹1,000 to ₹3,000 Incentive for Employers
First-time job seekers are not the only ones who will benefit from this scheme. If you are an employer looking to hire new employees, then you will get a portion of the financial assistance mentioned above.Benefits under Part B
The government will provide a subsidy to an employer for every eligible employee hired for a period of two years (4 years for the manufacturing sector) on a monthly and lump-sum basis for an eligible employee.| Monthly EPF Wage of New Hire | Amount of Incentive for Employer |

Who is Eligible for Part B?
- The establishment must be registered with the EPFO and file the challans for EPF/ESI on a regular basis correctly.- Companies with less than 50 employees on their payroll must hire at least 2 additional employees, while companies with more than 50 employees must hire at least 5 additional employees.
- New employees must be retained for a minimum of 6 months for the employer to be eligible for these benefits.

## How to Apply / Register for the Scheme
Thanks to the EPF system, everything is digitized to help you make it easier for both employees and employers to apply for the scheme! Here's how you can register.For Employees (first-time entrants to the formal corporate sector):
1. Activate your UAN:As you join the establishment, your employer will register you with the EPFO. Log on to the portal and activate your Universal Account Number (UAN).
2. Complete KYC:
You must complete a KYC process and link your Aadhaar card and bank account with your UAN. Note that the amount of your incentive will be transferred to this bank account through the Aadhaar Bridge Payment System, so ensure that the information is correct.
3. Stay for at least 6 continuous monthsp:
After you have worked for 6 continuous months with the organisation that enrolled you with the EPFO, you will get your first instalment of financial assistance. After working for 12 continuous months, you will also get the second instalment, but you must complete a short financial literacy course for EPFO before getting it.
For Employers:
1. Update your details with the EPFO:
Apply for the scheme on the portal by updating your details, including your PAN and GSTN.2. Ensure Aadhaar authentication of new employees:
Make sure that your new employees undergo Aadhaar authentication.3. File your ECR regularly:
